Dr. Smith is a specialist in sports medicine, providing nonsurgical treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and pain, primarily for sports-related conditions. A graduate of the University of North Dakota School of Medicine, Dr. Smith completed his master of science degree in exercise physiology from St. Cloud State University. He completed his family practice residency in Sioux Falls and a fellowship in sports medicine at Ohio State University. He is the currently the team physician for SDSU athletics and for the Sioux Falls Storm indoor football team.
