Dr. Hermanson received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Iowa and his fellowship in sports medicine, arthroscopy and reconstructive surgery at the Southern California Orthopedic Institute.
Dr. Hermanson is a sports medicine physician with additional training in treating disorders related to the shoulder, elbow,hip, knee and ankle. He has also had extensive training in performing arthroscopic surgery in these areas. He is currently Team Physician for Southwest Minnesota State University and O'Gorman High School.
Born and raised in South Dakota, Dr. Hermanson graduated from O'Gorman High School.
