Our Athletic Training Program currently serves more than 30 high schools in three states. Its team of certified athletic trainers, located throughout the region, provides weekly visits to high schools. A majority of the trainers have masters degree level training, with years of field experience. In addition, each trainer is:
- Nationally certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association
- Licensed by the state of South Dakota
- Trained in on-field assessment of athletic injuries
- Trained in First-Aid, CPR and emergency care of athletic injuries
- Trained in pre-participation taping and bracing techniques

- Special event coverage, such as athletic tournaments
- Strength/conditioning consultation or services
- Educational programs on such topics as strenghening, conditioning and nutrition
