Dr. Craig Smith chosen to present at the annual meeting of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine
Craig M. Smith, M.D., a sports medicine physician with Orthopedic Institute was recently selected to present a lecture on Exercise Prescription and Exercise PerformanceTesting for the Competitive Athlete to the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.
The American Medical Society for Sports Medicine has 1200 members from the U.S., Canada and Australia. The majority of AMSSM members are primary care physicians with fellowship training and added qualifications in Sports Medicine who then combine their practice of Sports Medicine with their primary specialty.
Dr. Smith is a team physician with the Sioux Falls Storm football team, and South Dakota State University athletics.
